Well college football season for me has officially started, and any of you that have been following this blog at all for the past year kn
ow how much I blog about BYU games--because I LOVE IT! This Saturday the Cougars opened the 2009 season at the new Dallas Cowboy Stadium against 3rd ranked Oklahoma, whose QB, Sam Bradford, won the Heisman Trophy last year. I have to admit, even though I tend to be the fan who always thinks her team can win, regardless of the situation, was just hoping for a decent showing. Well I got way more than that. It was an intense game, and I was in knots the entire game. At one point as it was getting down to the wire I was laying behind the couch hoping for the best as Justin was giving me the updates over the announcers. Don't worry I got up and saw the important stuff! It was an awesome game and I'm still in a little awe that they won, but I have to say it was a little bittersweet for me at the end--see I had a ticket to go to the game. It was in my hand at one point, but due to some circumstances beyond my control I had to give up my ticket and I didn't get to go. Man was I disappointed. I just kept thinking, I'm suppose to be there. It was a little rough to take, especially since they won. But an awesome win for the team and I'm looking forward to the year, I hope they can keep the momentum going!
