Taylor Swift Concert

Last night Nicole and I went to the Taylor Swift Concert. We both like her latest CD and decided to check out her concert. We had a good time, she was fun to watch. We ended up with some pretty sweet seats. They were upper bowl but they were the soft seats. They had set up a few rows of just regular chairs and it turns out that is where our seats where. We had a good view, no one was standing up in front of us and no one ended up sitting next to Nicole, which was nice. It was fun to hang out with my sister we don't get to do that very often. It was a good night!

What Will You Celebrate.......

I had one of the best birthday's ever this year..... I went to DISNEYLAND!!! Micia and I are always saying to each other, "hey when are we going to Disneyland". Its kind of a running joke between the 2 of us. So the week before my birthday we had been emailing back and forth about something and at the end I wrote my usual, so when are we going to Disneyland. Well this time she shot back with, How about for your birthday. I thought about it and said, LETS DO IT! So we did!! It was a quickly put together trip but it was so much fun. My birthday was on a Thursday, so we flew down Wednesday night after work. That night we just hung around, and went to dinner; we needed to carbo-load (all you Office watchers will get what that means). The next day was my B-day. While I was in the shower Micia hung a HAPPY BIRTHDAY sign above my bed which was great. We headed out to Disneyland and spent the entire day there. They had given me a pin that said it was my Birthday, so I got lots of birthday wishes from the workers and random people we saw that day. I don't think I have ever been wished Happy Birthday by more people in my life. The weather was great and we had so much fun. One of our favorite rides was over at California Adventure--The Tower of Terror, we went on it 2 times! The last time I was at Disneyland, prior to this trip, we had seen lots of people who seemed to be on some type of scavenger hunt, looking for things. We found out that they were looking for the Hidden Mickey's that are all over the 2 parks--have you looked for them? So I found a book that gave you hints were to look for them and while we were out and about Micia and I looked for the Hidden Mickey's. We had a lot of fun with it, I have to say they are pretty inventive with where they hide them. We didn't find them all but we found quite a few. It was just a great day. Thanks to Micia for taking the time out of her busy schedule to play with me at Disneyland for the day. Thanks to all my friends and family for the birthday wishes and making me feel so loved. I really am just a kid at heart..... I'm already looking forward to my next trip to Disneyland

Had to take a turn on the Tea Cups

Uncle Jason

I had to take a few pictures the other night of my 2 nephews, Zach & Tyler. They love to wrestle and "beat up" their Uncle Jason. It always cracks me up. So while the wrestling match was going down the other night I grabbed my camera. You will notice they also took their shirts off, for the wrestling effect. Jason is great with the 2 of them and will always play with them. Sometimes even Emma & Maddie join in. However, when Emma was younger it would make her mad and she would cry, that they needed to leave her daddy alone! But it's all in good fun. Funny boys!
Pic of Ash, watching the b-ball game, he didn't get into the wrestling much.....

Running with Angels 5K

This past Saturday, Mom, Nicole, Ashton & I participated in the 5K called, Running with Angels. It benefits a program called Angel Watch, that helps families struggling through hard times with the birth of new babies that are born sick or prematurely. I had not participated for a couple of years due to work so it was fun to do again. It takes place out at Thanksgiving Point, and most of the run with through the gardens out there which are beautiful. Many of the tulips were still in bloom, so the scenery was great. I ended up leaving mom and Nic and heading out on my own--I even ended up running for a good portion of it. Mom and Nic took turns pushing Ashton in the stroller. They did awesome, especially Nic who is about 5 months pregnant. We had a good time. I enjoy it, I'll have to try and hit a few more this summer!
