North Carolina-National Champs

My family seems to base our get togethers around sporting events--yes Cara you were right we do-- and last night was no exception. It was the final game of the NCAA tournament. North Carolina was playing Michigan St. NC pulled away with the game early on-but I still enjoyed watching the game. Not to mention that I picked NC to win the whole thing when I filled out my bracket back before the tournament began, so I was happy about that as well. Mom was still adding up the point, but I'm hoping I won the family pool this year--YAY for me! Ash and I wore our matching jersey's for the night. I wanted a picture of the 2 of us but he wasn't really cooperating that well. We will have to try again sometime.

Mayercraft Carrier-2

Marcie, Holly and I had so much fun on the Mayercraft Carrier 1 last year (for those of you who are wondering what in the world that is---its a cruise with John Mayer. He does a few concerts, hangs out with the fans, and besides listening to him sing, there are numerous other artists on board doing concerts) that we decided to go again this year. This years cruise left from San Pedro, CA and was 4 days instead of 3. Our port this year was Cabo San Lucas. We boarded the ship early on Thursday, as we had purchased tickets for a VH1 Save the Music concert that night. It was so much fun. We go to see O.A.R, Guster, Gavin Rosdale a few other as well as John and Jordin Sparks. John and Jordin were awesome it was probably my favorite part of the concert. Our ship set sail that next day. We hung out on the deck in the sun, and this girl was loving it!! I love the sunshine. Oh yeah, and John did a concert out on the deck--so much fun. That night we saw Guster perform. So we had a day at sea on Saturday, we also got to attend a sound check party for John that afternoon. That evening we saw O.A.R. and they were great--they are becoming one of my favorite bands. Sunday we were in port at Cabo. We decided to hang out at the beach and I couldn't have been happier. It was a wonderful afternoon. That evening we just hung out on the ship--I love hanging out with those 2 they are so much fun. Monday, our last day at sea, weather wise was a bummer. It was windy and cold and the sun was not shinning much, but what do you do, make the best of it. That afternoon we go to go to a Q&A session with John which was fun. Marcie submitted a question, but it was not selected--BLAST! But things turned out OK, because after the questions John hung around and signed autographs. Marcie had brought the book I made her of last years trip and he signed it for her. Nice addition to that page!

That night we got to see John in concert and once again he didn't disappoint. I love watching him play guitar, its amazing. It was a fab trip, I had so much fun. Here's to next year!

St. Patricks Day

Yes I'm a little behind on my blogging, but I'm about to make up for it. For St. Patty's Day this year, Ally & I celebrated with the Jazz. We had a great time at the game, and I must say, we really know how to work the Shamrock Headbands, Tyra would be proud. The game was lots of fun, and the Jazz won so that was even better. The playoffs start soon, I hope it goes well :)
