Warm Blankets

Just something kind of funny. Ally and I were watching the Jazz game tonight-yes they lost and snapped their 12 game winning streak, but those things have to end sometime. Anyway, it hasn't exactly been warm around here lately and after we had our Cafe Rio dinner, she got a little cold. She put up her hood and secured it snuggly around her face. However, that wasn't enough so I suggested that she put her blanket in the dryer for a few minutes... And seriously there is something about a warm blanket, its the best. I had to take this picture of her all wrapped up in her warm blanket. It just made me smile. So just some advice, next time you can't get warm throw that blanket in the dryer for a few minutes and you will be one happy camper!

Arizona in February

I was so sick of the Utah winter weather that I decided it was time to get out of here! I talked to Marcie and Holly and told them I was coming for a visit. Being the awesome, welcoming hosts they always are they told me to come on down. It was just what this girl needed. Some time away from work( I often feel the only time I really get away from work is when I leave town), some time out of the cold weather and a great weekend with some dear friends. We went shopping, out to dinner, watched movies, Lincoln's 1st b-day party, and a get together with some of Marcie's friends from High School. As always, it came to an end all too soon, but we are getting together in about a week and a half in LA and then on to Mexico... more about that later! But thanks Girls for a great weekend, I love you and your family tons, I always consider AZ my home away from home!
