Basketball Time

Ally & I hit 2 Jazz games this week ( I know we go to a lot of basketball games, its fun!) On Tuesday one of the guys at work came in my office at about 4:00 and offered me his Jazz tickets for that night, I of course said yes and called Ally and she of course was in. They were great seats, and we were happy to have them. We were a little late getting there, because I had some appointments at work, but we finally made it. Turned out to be a good game and they won. We hung around for a little bit afterwards and took some pictures. While doing so they were doing some Post-Game interviews. We realized we were on the scoreboard screen so we got laughing and tried to take a picture. I've posted it below-its like a Where's Waldo picture--see if you can find us. After seeing that we got home to watched the recorded game(I had recorded it because when I left the house I hadn't planned on going to the game) anyway, we watched the interview and since we knew where to look, we could totally see Ally on TV during the interview--so funny! We also went to the game last night against Cleveland, the Jazz didn't fair as well and they lost! Oh well there's always another game, right.

Skiing/Spa Day

Micia & Ally both have birthday's the first week of January (the 1st and the 3rd). So to celebrate we spent a Saturday at Solitude. That's right they got me to go skiing! It was pretty fun-this from a girl that hasn't been skiing in about 7-8 years. Ally was very patient and helpful, you can tell she is a teacher. I did pretty good all things considered. After skiing in the morning until about 1:30, we then hit the spa (what I was really looking forward to). It was very relaxing and much needed--I loved it. Its nice to have great friends to spend a fun day with-even if I did have to go home and write a talk for church the next day, boy am I glad that is over! But it was a great day, we'll have to do it again-the spa that is I think I'm good on the skiing for awhile :)

O.A.R. Concert

Adrienne and I went to the O.A.R. concert the other night--so much fun! As you know we love going to concerts, this time it just ended up being the 2 of us our other friends couldn't make it but we had a great time. These guys put on a great show, and I'm already looking forward to seeing them again in March with John Mayer! If you aren't familiar with them--check out their music!

New Year

I realized it has been quite awhile since I have posted anything. With everything that goes on with the holiday's I just ran out of time so....... Christmas was great. It was nice to just hang around and do NOTHING!! My parents gave me a new camera for Christmas for which I was very thankful and excited. I no longer have to carry around the "ancient" digital camera I was using. The new one is much smaller and nicer and will be great for those picture moments. Ally's birthday is on New Year's Day and we spent New Year's Eve with a few friends and rang in her birthday and the new year at midnight. Since then its been back to regular life and all the happenings. Here are a few pictures from New Years' ( I realized I didn't take any at Christmas! I really put that new camera to work!)
