Day at the Zoo

Friday Nicole decided to take Ashton to the zoo. Mom and I went along, I think we both needed an afternoon off work, so for me it sounded like a great idea. I think that he had a pretty good time, even though I think he enjoyed watching people go by more than the animals. And he insisted on walking most of the time, unfortunately he fell twice and re hurt his knee. :( But in spite of that it was a fun afternoon. He is such a cute kid, and so much fun.

Other than that this weekend, I met up with my friend Terri and her husband Doug and their son Eli for dinner. It had been awhile since we had been to dinner. It was so good to see them, and Eli is getting so big! Everything with the adoption is now complete and I was able to go to the temple with them a few weeks ago when he was sealed to them. It was such a great experience. They are gearing up for baby #2-yep already. They are expecting another son in November! Life is funny sometimes, but they are excited, even if life is a little crazy right now! I had so much fun visiting with them, I miss them!

Other than that I did the usual on Saturday, I worked, went to a baby shower, the Relief Society broadcast, a wedding reception and hung out with some friends. I was grateful to have a quiet afternoon after church today. The fall weather has been absolutely beautiful, I hope it lasts a little longer!

Shopping

I left work tonight and it wasn't as late as I originally thought it would be, so I decided it was time for some retail therapy--yes I went shopping. Even though the weather has been beautiful the last couple of days and I won't be needing it for awhile, I hope, I bought a new coat! I just couldn't leave the Buckle without it. I guess when the cold weather hits I'll be ready. Oh the things that make me happy sometimes.

Tomorrow is the season premiere of The Office. I'm getting really excited. I just watched season 4 on DVD over the past week to get ready. I'm going to an "Office Party" tomorrow, I hope its fun!

BYU Game

Another Saturday, another BYU game. This time Ally and I went. They played Wyoming for their conference opener and it was an awesome game. For the second week in a row it was a shutout! I had so much fun, I just love it when my team wins. Here are a few pictures from the game.

Friday Night

So its another Friday night, and I didn't have to work at the salon tonight, yeah! So Ally and I decided that we needed a change of scenery, so we went to SLC for dinner instead of hanging around the usual spots. We went to Tucano's and it was delicious. I ate so much I was beginning to wonder if I was going to be able to get up out of my chair. I do love pineapple. It all tasted so good, I wish I had taken my camera with me for a few pictures. The waiters were flirty with Ally, one in particular, so it was good times had by all. I wanted to do a little shopping, but by the time we were done with dinner most of the stores will closed. Guess I saved myself a little money tonight :)

But seriously, grilled pineapple is the best!

Not much going on today. I just got home from Yoga. My legs are so tired! And now I'm trying to figure out this blog and getting looking better. Hopefully one of these days that will happen!

Getting Started

Well blogging world-I'm finally a part of it. Nikki was kind enough to get this started for me this morning so we will see how I do. I guess I will start with the most recent pictures I have. Mom and I went to the BYU vs UCLA football game on September 13, 2008. It was so much fun!!! The Cougars won 59-0. Yes we stayed for the whole game-as a rule I don't usually leave early.
